- Abstract
The stability of reservoir slopes is crucial to both engineering and public safety. Based on the limit equilibrium method, this paper analyzes the slope stability in the collapsed area of the upper reservoir at Zhen’an pumped storage power station considering the complex geological conditions. Results show that under extreme conditions (heavy rain and earthquake), safety factors exceed control standards (1.15/1.05) by 19.1% and 35.2%, respectively. Under natural and construction conditions, the safety factors also surpass specification limits, indicating the support system provides a sufficient safety margin and meets design requirements. The research results offer valuable reference for collapse treatment and stability evaluation.
