Abstract

Based on the framework of self-efficacy theory proposed by social psychologist Albert Bandura, this study systematically examines the multidimensional impact mechanisms of a tripartite collaborative intervention model involving community support networks, family care systems, and professional nursing institutions on improving the self-efficacy of older adults from the perspective of professional social work practice. Through literature review, we conducted an in-depth analysis of diverse intervention programs implemented across different regions in China (including urban communities, rural areas, and urban-rural fringe areas) and their actual effectiveness. The findings reveal that comprehensive interventions such as organizing group recreational activities for the elderly, promoting community health knowledge dissemination, and implementing professional psychological counseling and emotion management training not only significantly improve the mental health status of older adults but also effectively enhance their confidence and ability to cope with daily life challenges. Notably, various intervention approaches exhibit differentiated efficacy characteristics across different living scenarios and care environments. For instance, institutional settings like nursing homes emphasize individualized guidance by professional caregivers, while community settings prioritize neighborhood mutual aid and organized group activities. These findings fully demonstrate the critical value of establishing collaborative linkage mechanisms among communities, families, and professional institutions in promoting active aging, while also providing important theoretical references and operational guidelines for elderly care service providers and nursing home administrators when formulating service plans.
