Abstract

The growing population of the world is increasing tension of our agriculture system. The Tension is forcing us to provide more and more food. But the resources are becoming fearful. Urbanisation is growing so fast that the land worth growing crop is being occupied by the cities and water problem is becoming fearful. To ensure the food security to the growing population we have to boost the productivity on the land available with us now. When we increase the productivity, we make a nutritious crops more affordable and more available. We have to reduce dependence on imports. This will make our nation strongly, self sufficient. There are challenge to face like dropped droughts, floods and degradation of soil. So it need as precision agriculture and farming with the help of AI and IOT, so that there will be long lasting improvement in yielding. If we want to remove hunger and poverty permanently, we have to increase the rate of agriculture production; to support the food processing industries to increase the jobs in rural areas.
