Abstract

Under the advancement of educational digitalization and the task of fostering virtue through education, chemistry major courses need to address the disconnection between knowledge transmission and ideological cultivation. Guided by the policy orientation of the Outline of the Plan for Building a Leading Country in Education (2024–2035) and in light of the characteristics of the core courses of the chemistry major, this study constructs a three-dimensional framework of technology-content-value and examines the key elements and dilemmas of ideological integration in chemistry teaching. Through three pathways—knowledge-graph-based reconstruction, situational immersive teaching, and digital closed-loop evaluation—and an empirical study of 12 chemistry-major classes in 6 universities, the study verifies the effectiveness of this approach. The findings show that digital-technology-empowered ideological integration can significantly enhance students’ scientific spirit, social responsibility, and feelings for the country and society, providing a practical paradigm for achieving the dual goals of academic cultivation and value guidance in chemistry major courses.
