- Abstract
With the increased pressure for environmental conservation concerning our planet, there is a great need for energy and water preservation, particularly in home appliances. This research is devoted to examining sustainable innovation in refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and desert air coolers because these household appliances are essential energy and water users. The paper uses IoT integration, top-shelf sensors and machine learning algorithms and the aspiration is to present better systems that guarantee improved resource utilization and efficiency in addition to the comfort of the user. Based on the proposed concepts of resource-saving mechanisms such as real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and adaptive operation modes, this paper presents a concrete system requirement and system design to accomplish the integration. As such, these solutions reduce the deficiencies in classic appliance designs, all the while satisfying global energy standards and water-saving objectives. The approach used is a current innovation review combined with a concept design methodology together with simulations and user-oriented aspects. The presentation of these innovations is evidence of how the study promotes them as solutions to decrease the environmental impact of households as well as support the developments of more sustainable home appliance environments.
