Abstract

CareerCraft is an AI-driven career counselling platform that leverages the K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm to provide personalized career recommendations for secondary-level students. By analyzing skills, interests, and preferences, the platform predicts suitable job roles with an overall accuracy of 92%. Roles like Graphics Designer, Networking Engineer, and Technical Writer etc. showed high precision and balanced recall, while roles like AI ML Specialist highlighted areas for improvement. CareerCraft bridges gaps in traditional counselling by offering real-time insights, dynamic assessments, and interactive tools that ensure inclusivity and accessibility. Its integration of community forums and knowledge-sharing networks fosters engagement, empowering students to make data-driven career decisions. The platform effectively adapts to the rapidly evolving job market, providing relevant and actionable guidance. This study demonstrates the potential of machine learning in modernizing career counselling, offering a scalable and impactful solution for diverse student needs. CareerCraft redefines career guidance by providing access to high-quality recommendations and supporting informed career choices.
