Abstract

This paper analyzes the potential for change that a digital eMarketplace for legal services in India offers. The platform aims to address the inadequacies in traditional legal structures by using AI to enhance accessibility, transparency, and operational efficiency. The objectives include bridging the gap between service providers and the public while addressing issues such as geographical barriers, increased costs, and a lack of legal literacy. The methodology covered requirement analysis in the form of conducting surveys and interviews, design of system architecture, and even incorporation of AI-enabled functionalities, including chatbots and advanced search filters. With the MERN stack, it was built and optimized for scalability and performance with secure hosting and improvements through feedbacks. Major results show a high level of user engagement and access to services. Features like secure payment, automated appointment scheduling, and service suggestions have made the legal processes smoother, leaving users more satisfied and confident. This study identifies the importance of technology in making legal services available to the deprived sections of society. This reflects the potential of AI-driven platforms in reorienting the legal environment. It works toward a more just, efficient, and user-centric legal framework for India while demanding continuous innovative efforts that help meet the needs of new emerging challenges.
