Abstract

A personalized healthcare recommendation engine is a strong machine learning system that enables a user to determine probable diseases and recommend measures on health care. It accepts the user’s symptoms and can predict diseases using various models like support vector machines, random forests, and K-nearest neighbors. The project comes with a well-structured dataset that contains data on symptoms, what to avoid, treatment, diet, and exercise for several diseases, among others. The system can forecast the illnesses that the particular user is most likely to suffer from and provides a recommended approach to addressing the specific ailment based on diagnosis The performance of the model is improved by including different methods of preprocessing the raw data, such as label encoding and splitting of the data. The system also involves the training and testing of several models to identify the best model that will perform the disease prediction task with minimal error This increases the usability and effectiveness of the system as a whole, hence making it a wonderful tool for diagnosis and health management aided by a recommendation system.
