Abstract

In this paper, the problem of carbon emission data sharing using blockchains is studied. To avoid data leakage, the data is usually encrypted before uploading to the blockchain. To enable flexible searching, a symmetric key searchable encryption is applied, where the blockchain can transform any index ciphertext into a searchable one. We give a rigorous system model and related security definitions. We also analyze and evaluate the performance of our scheme. The results of our experiments show our scheme is secure and efficient.
