Abstract

This study investigates the impact of fingerprint-based attendance systems, work discipline, and additional employee income on the performance of employees within XYZ government agencies. A quantitative research design was applied, with a sample of 67 employees determined using the Slovin formula. martPLS version 4 was employed to conduct the data analysis. The results indicate that fingerprint attendance does not significantly affect employee performance, as reflected by a coefficient of 0.155, a t-statistic of 1.419, and a p-value of 0.156. In contrast, work discipline shows a significant positive influence on performance, with a coefficient of 0.621, a t-statistic of 4.509, and a p-value of 0.000. The findings reveal that additional employee income significantly enhances performance (β = 0.231; t = 2.848; p = 0.004). In combination, fingerprint attendance, work discipline, and income explain a substantial proportion of employee performance, with R2 = 0.842 and adjusted R2 = 0.834, underscoring the robustness of the model.
