Abstract

The present inquiry investigates how the surrounding work context and employees’ sense of role fulfillment contribute to performance outcomes at PT. Ghasyas Surya Mandiri. A quantitative strategy grounded in an associative framework was employed. Empirical evidence was generated through the administration of structured questionnaires to 80 participants, with subsequent evaluation conducted via validity and reliability examinations, diagnostic assessments of classical assumptions, and estimation through multiple linear regression modeling. The analysis reveals that, when considered individually, both the organizational setting and the degree of occupational satisfaction exert a statistically significant and favorable influence on performance levels. Among the two, the work environment emerges as the stronger determinant, demonstrated by its comparatively larger regression coefficient. Taken together, the predictors account for 93.4% of the variance in employee outcomes, leaving 6.6% attributable to unobserved influences beyond the model. These results underscore the im- portance of fostering supportive physical and non-physical work conditions, alongside structured mechanisms of satisfaction such as equitable recognition, advancement pathways, and balance between professional and personal domains to sustain performance excellence and organizational resilience.
