Abstract

Application and usage of technology has gradually increased in every sector. The design of an electronic system using hand gesture is an innovative user interface to control many electronic appliances. Hand gesture recognition system has come into picture in the recent few years because of its enormous applications. Hand gestures are a form of uncommunicative device that can implemented in several fields. Hand gestures play a vital role for human-computer interaction. In this all the image processing are performed using NI vision assistant. For implementation of hand gesture NI LABVIEW is used. The gestures that are given in front of webcam are then processed using image processing function, followed by Lab View which controls various home appliances depending on the gesture.
