- Abstract
The present study discusses the urban road network connectivity of Hyderabad City. Urban road networks are vital for the effective movement of both people and goods throughout urban areas. They improve economic activity and link different city regions, acting as the fundamental support for urban infrastructure. Therefore, this study has focused on the analysis of urban road network by ArcGIS. ArcGIS is a powerful tool that significantly impacts our opinions and actions on city streets. It performs a good job of enhancing the whole procedure. With the help of the ArcGIS tool, the analysis is carried forward. For the evaluation of urban road network various connectivity indices are adopted such as beta index, betty index, correlation index, etc. The main objective of this study is to define the level of connectivity in different locations and also to categorize and rank the locations based on the level of connectivity.
