Abstract

This study developed a web-based accreditation information system for the Applied Program of Politeknik Negeri Manado using a User-Centered Design (UCD) and prototyping approach with active participation from 30 respondents, including academic staff and accreditation team members. Through two evaluation stages, the system showed significant improvements, with average scores rising from 3.26 to 4.5 in usability, interface clarity, navigation, functionality, and user satisfaction, confirming its alignment with user needs and supporting the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The system streamlines the preparation of accreditation documents (LED, LKPS), facilitates collaborative workflows, and enhances transparency and accountability, demonstrating that combining UCD and prototyping is effective for academic system development and contributes to digital transformation in vocational higher education, with potential for future integration and wider institutional adoption.
