Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors affecting the resilience of Indonesian students, as resilience is an important component that helps individuals adapt to and survive in various situations. Students should have a high level of resilience because it helps them deal with academic pressures and social challenges and maintains emotional balance in the face of unexpected changes and difficulties during their studies. However, many students still have a low level of resilience because they are reluctant to get back up and close themselves when experiencing problems in lectures, friendships, and family. The approach used in this study was quantitative with a cross-sectional survey design. A total of 340 students in Indonesia were asked to fill out an online questionnaire. The instruments used were the Connor and Davidson Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), also Cayci Career and College Readiness. The data were analyzed by linear regression using the Jamovi software. The results showed that factors that affect student resilience include emotional regulation, readiness to enter college and future careers, and the suitability of majors.
