Abstract

This paper is about a cutting-edge human-computer interface system that enables precise mathematical computations via hand gestures. This innovative technology provides a simple substitute for common input modalities like keyboardsand touchscreens, promoting accessibility, particularly for those with physical restrictions or speech difficulties. This system recognizes fixed hand gestures and converts them into real time mathematical equations by combining computer vision, machine learning, and symbolic computing. Great accuracy responsiveness, and flexibility are provided by the combination of these technologies, which makes the system effective and easy to use.

In contrast to conventional gesture-based interfaces, this study offers an adaptive learning method that gradually improves gesture recognition accuracy, reducing misclassification errors and improving usability. Additionally, the system operates in real-time, allowing users to do complex mathematical operations as well as basic arithmetic dynamically. The system’s potential to revolutionize digital accessibility is shown in this study, which also describes its design, implementation process, and performance evaluation. Beyond calculators, gesture-based computing has potential applications in augmented reality interfaces, assistive technologies, and education. The program contributes to the creation of an inclusive technological environment and the reduction of the accessibility gap via this development.
