Abstract

The issue of inability to obtain personalized investment advice has remained a significant problem in the financial service industry due to prohibitive costs and limited access to traditional advisory services. The present study outlines an AI-based chatbot with a view to providing accessible financial advice in investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning assistance. The chatbot generates unique recommendations for budgeting, investment management, and retirement planning by incorporating real-time data through financial institution APIs. The chatbot system employs advanced NLP techniques and ML algorithms for the continuous improvement of its functionalities. Data privacy and regulatory compliance apparatus are implemented at the preprocessing stage to assure that any and all user information is kept relevant. The results from this research show that the chatbot can give timely and relevant advice, subsequently imbibing financial literacy and informed decision-making. The paper furthermore discusses the general implementation of AI in financial advisory services and highlights future developments to enhance inclusivity.
