Abstract

With the increasing reliance on virtual communication, optimizing the efficiency of online meetings has become essential. This study presents a novel system that leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to enhance meeting data management and accessibility. The proposed solution integrates Django as the backend framework and React for the front-end interface, ensuring a seamless and scalable architecture. A key innovation of this project is the incorporation of a Chrome extension, which enables real-time meeting caption recording and transmits the captured data to the backend for further processing. This approach streamlines data collection and forms the foundation for automated summarization and translation. The system utilizes the Bidirectional and Auto-Regressive Transformers (BART) model, an advanced NLP technique, to generate coherent and contextually rich summaries. By combining real-time data acquisition, advanced summarization models, and intuitive UI/UX design, this solution significantly enhances the usability and efficiency of online meetings, making meeting transcripts more accessible and actionable.
