- Abstract
A 2-port MIMO (Multiple input Multiple Output) antenna is analyzed in this research. The antenna configuration is designed with antenna elements positioned orthogonally. FR4 foundation, with an antenna with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a loss tangent of 0.02 is built. Within the below-6 GHz spectrum, its operating frequency range includes the n77, n78, and n48 bands. Which are essential for applications using 5G. The proposed antenna’s overall dimension is 60×70 ×1.6mm3. An orthogonal arrangement, supplemented by integrating four stubs, was implemented to increase the level of isolation between the antenna’s component parts. The suggested four port antenna has (S11< −10dB) the decoupling structure offers an isolation of SXY < −10dB and the antenna is resonated at 3.6GHZ. The proposed MIMO system is evaluated using HFSS software to compute diversity characteristics like ECC, DG, CCL, and TARC, assessing its effectiveness. The results suggest its compatibility with 5G applications.
