Abstract

The church has a role to bring more of the gospel to its community, especially to today's young people who need more attention as they transition from children to adults through discipleship activities. Discipleship is a relationship between individuals that is like counseling, but spiritual. Currently, discipleship activities are going on in Abbalove Industri Church, but the church still does not meet the needs of discipleship activities in facilities because many of the young people do discipleship activities outside the building or in the circulation area of the building. So the purpose of this research is to find out about the needs for this discipleship activity in order to meet the needs of these facilities. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method by illustrating the data that has been collected regarding size standards, activity procedures and human ergonomics. Primary data is obtained through field observation methods and interviews with individuals who conduct discipleship activities to find out the needs in conducting discipleship activities. The result of this research is a proposed layout for the Abbalove Industry Church by adding discipleship facilities for young people. The proposal also includes the furniture needed, good lighting for the discipleship room, the use of appropriate materials, not using flashy decorations, and still maintaining a cozy and warm atmosphere.
