Abstract

The mathematic model of distribution automation terminal configuration optimization is established based on the cost-benefit theory, taking the minimum area as the basic analysis unit, considering the balance of economy and reliability. The number and location of electrical distribu-tion automation terminals are optimized by genetic algorithm. Under analysis IEEE RBTS-BUS 2 system, the results show that the power outage time and loss are significantly reduced after configuration, and the effectiveness of the method is verified.
