- Abstract
The study aims to develop and determine the appropriateness of virtual reality-based media on automatic transmission as a supplement for pre-service automotive teachers. The media was developed using the Unity software. This research applied a Research and Development approach consisting of needs analysis, design, development of learning media products, and validation testing by material and media experts. The results showed that the learning media created is good based on its appropriateness with the syllabus (3.67) and the student's ability to use it for independent learning (3.75). Furthermore, the learning media developed also received good scores from media experts (3.67) and potential users (3.22). It indicates that the automatic transmission learning media is good and suggested to be implemented in the prospective teachers’ learning process.
