Abstract

This study aims to reveal the application trends of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education. Using the Web of Science database, 133 relevant papers were selected, and CiteSpace was used to perform co-occurrence analysis of authors, institutions, and keywords. The analysis results show that research in this field has grown rapidly since 2017, with a significant acceleration after 2021. Collaboration analysis among authors and institutions highlights the key role of major institutions such as the University of London. Keyword analysis indicates that areas such as “generative AI,” “learning analytics,” “intelligent tutoring systems,” and “adaptive assessment” are gaining attention, reflecting the potential of AI in personalized learning.
