- Abstract
With the continuous growth in the demand for economic talents in the broad field of business, private colleges and universities are facing prominent issues such as weak student foundations and the limited effectiveness of traditional teaching methods in the teaching of econometrics. This paper focuses on the teaching reform practice of the Econometrics course based on the Zhihuishu platform, comprehensively applying various teaching strategies such as blended learning, case-driven teaching, and hierarchical progressive teaching, aiming to enhance students’ ability to solve practical economic problems. The course design strictly follows the Outcome-Based Education concept, promoting students’ critical transformation from “being able to calculate” to “understanding economics”. Through a comparative analysis of students from the 2018 and 2023 grades, the evaluation results show that the teaching reform has achieved remarkable results, with significant improvements in students’ academic performance. In the future, efforts can be made to continuously improve it by enhancing the interactivity of online teaching resources and strengthening personalized learning support, in order to more effectively enhance students’ comprehensive qualities and innovation capabilities.
