- Abstract
Since 2009, when China first proposed “exploring the establishment of an interactive mechanism combining rural credit and agricultural insurance”, agricultural insurance and agricultural credit have been playing an increasingly crucial role in supporting the development of the “Three Rural Areas”. It is an important tool to drive the agricultural industry towards high-quality development. This study utilizes national panel data from 2009 to 2021 to quantitatively analyze the coupling mode of agricultural “Insurance + Credit” using the coupling coordination degree model. The Two-way fixed effects model further verifies that the coupled and coordinated development of agricultural “Insurance + Credit” has a significant positive impact on agricultural industrialization, and substantial financial for rural revitalization strategy. The article concludes with targeted policy recommendations to optimize the agricultural “insurance + credit” model to better serve agricultural industrialization and rural revitalization.
