Abstract

Amid global cultural integration, Zhoushan folk culture’s external communication struggles to balance localization and globalization. This study explores how New Quality Productive Forces address these challenges through modern translation technologies and cultural adaptation strategies, focusing on core elements like Guanyin belief, the Fishing Opening Festival, and boat decoration art. It identifies key issues in current translation practices, such as cultural discount and terminology confusion, and reveals limitations of mainstream tools in handling culturally specific items. A "three-dimensional modeling" approach is proposed, combining linguistic precision (bilingual terminology databases), cultural depth (multimodal annotations), and technological integration (CAT tools and AR systems). Case studies (e.g., optimized translation of the Fishing Opening Festival) demonstrate its effectiveness in enhancing cross-cultural communication, with dynamic, audience-tailored adaptations (supported by VR and AI) improving international receptivity while preserving cultural authenticity. The paper advocates for future developments like knowledge graphs and global cultural databases to bridge the cultural divides.
