- Abstract
Green hydrogen refers to the hydrogen obtained by using renewable energy to decompose water. Because it does not produce carbon dioxide in the production process and achieves zero carbon dioxide emission from the source. It is regarded as one of the clean and low-carbon energy sources with the most development potential. The power system is a “big household” of carbon emissions in The country, and its carbon dioxide emissions account for about 40% of Chinas total emissions. Guiding the application of green hydrogen in all aspects of the power system is of great significance for promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction in the power system in western China. In this paper, the application prospect and the economy of solar hydrogen production are analyzed and calculated in a case study.
