- Abstract
The bibliometric analysis delineates the current trends and prospective trajectories within the green economy paradigm. By employing “green economy” and “sustainable” as keywords within the Web of Science database, we leverage CiteSpace to construct a visual knowledge map, uncovering pivotal themes including “sustainable development,” “strategy,” and “circular economy.” The analysis detects an emerging emphasis on “pollution” and the escalating importance of green finance, with a particular focus on green bonds, in channeling investment towards environmentally sustainable sectors. The study reveals a positive correlation between the evolution of the green bond market and the utilization of renewable energy. Acknowledging the challenges posed by data accessibility and variations in regional environmental policies, the research accentuates the escalating demand for green bonds and the imperative for an in-depth examination of their role as a financial instrument in fostering the green economy.
