- Abstract
Rapid globalization and technological innovation make understanding and developing efficient value chains key for companies around the world to maintain competitiveness and meet growing market demands. Bibliometric analysis of 411 documents in the value chain field was carried out on the Scopus database starting in 1997 and continuing until 2022. The analysis was carried out using a scientific search approach. During the study, Biblioshiny, a web-based application that is a component of the R language Bibliometrix package, was used. The software’s automated methods are used to discover leading journals, authors, countries, articles, and themes, and to perform citation, co-citation, and social network analyses. This study aims to provide a global picture, map the landscape, and investigate changes in value chains in Indonesia. The study results show a trend of increasing the number of value chains in research in Indonesia. This study helps create policies to create financial education programs, legislative efforts, or strategies for intervention categorization of value chain in Indonesia publications for organizing the global knowledge accumulated over the past two decades.
