Abstract

This study examines how hybrid work arrangements affect employee engagement (EE) and the problems of creating a productive workplace in India post-pandemic. This SDG 8 and 10-aligned study analyzes how hybrid work models might improve inclusive economic growth, productive employment, and reduced disparities in India’s culturally varied capital area and Delhi-NCR. Along with 452 respondents, Delhi-NCR organizations provided data. A cross-sectional survey and PLS-SEM with Smart PLS-4.0 software carefully assessed the research hypotheses. Employee Voice (EV), Supervisor Support (SS), and EE are highly and statistically significantly connected with the organization’s post-COVID Hybrid Work Model. Job Autonomy (JA), EV, and EE linked favorably. EV links EE, JA, and SS to support SDG 8 and 10 by emphasizing how supportive leadership and job autonomy in hybrid work paradigms boost productivity and reduce workplace inequities. EV promotes JA and EE among Indian IT professionals. SDG 8 & 10 findings can help organizational psychologists and management specialists design appropriate hybrid work policies, improve communication, and increase participation. Studying numerous industries and geographies, hybrid methods, and causation using longitudinal designs is recommended. This study is one of the first to analyze JA, SS, and EE in hybrid work arrangements for SDG 8 & 10. The study examines how EV mediates JA, SS, and EE.
