Abstract

The transition to renewable energy sources holds promise for improving human health by reducing pollution and associated health risks. While preliminary studies suggest that renewable energy may mitigate occupational hazards and health issues for workers, research in this area remains limited. This study proposes a conceptual framework based on the rigorous theoretical underpinning. The proposed framework assesses the impact of precarious work (employment contract, vulnerability, wages and work schedule) on wellbeing of employees working in solar photovoltaic industry. To achieve the objectives of the proposed study quantitative methodology will be used and solar photovoltaic employees/workers are the targeted sample of current study.
