- Abstract
Remarkable technological advancements were seen in recent years, particularly in social media. Virtual contact and interaction are made possible using social media like the TikTok application. This application has quickly become a social trend, rivaling other social media platforms. Although numerous pertinent studies have indicated that incorporating social media into language instruction can have positive effects on students’ language learning performance, limited research has been done on the use of TikTok for educational purposes. Through qualitative lenses, this research examines and investigates the use of Tiktok in language learning. The videos were chosen based on their popularity. Through careful data examination, a video-based content analysis was performed, and inductive reasoning was used to determine and understand how language learning was delivered and communicated to its viewers. According to the findings of the research, this method of learning has educational implications and can be a helpful tool for teaching and learning.
