Abstract

This study aims to analyze the test items of Thai language learning outcomes in Aling Thai, focusing on the level of difficulty, discriminatory power, validity, reliability, and the function of distractors. The test is divided into four language skills, namely, listening, reading, writing, and speaking. This study uses a quantitative method with an instrument in the form of 25 Thai language test questions and 5 indicators that function to measure listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. The results of the analysis show that the level of difficulty of the questions has not been distributed normally, because most of the questions have a moderate level of difficulty. 10 questions were stated to need to be improved in order to have good discriminatory power. 8 questions were stated to have good discriminatory power, while 7 items were stated to be accepted with improvement. The Thai language listening, reading, writing, and listening ability test, all questions and indicators were stated to be valid and reliable. However, improvements still need to be made regarding discriminatory power, the level of difficulty of the questions and distractors.
