Abstract

In this paper, rural revitalization and urbanization were used as the keywords to search and screen the literature in CNKI, and the literature search scope was the literature in the past five years from 2018 to 2023, with a total of 1786 literatures, and CiteSpace was used to visually analyze the 200 journal literatures screened. From the analysis of the co-occurrence of the publication time, authors, institutions and keywords, the results show that the number of publications in the field of rural revitalization and urbanization in China shows an “explosive” growth trend, and there is a close relationship between the research enthusiasm and policy orientation in this field. The theoretical research on urban-rural relations, the development path of urban-rural integration, the policy of urban-rural integration development, and the case study of urban-rural integration development are the core issues of concern in this field. Domestic research as a whole presents a trend of coexistence of decentralized research and group research. The Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the School of Resources and Environment, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, are the “main forces” in the research on the relationship between rural revitalization and urbanization. The National Social Science Foundation of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China are key funding projects to support the research on the relationship between rural revitalization and urbanization. In the future research, on the one hand, it is necessary to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between researchers and research institutions, and on the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen the research on the new trend of urban-rural integration development under the new development background of digital economy.
