- Abstract
Against the backdrop of the new economic form, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the impact of rural labor mobility on agricultural resilience. The study finds that rural labor mobility not only brings the reflux of capital, technology and information to agricultural production, enhancing the economic resilience and innovation capacity of the agricultural system, but also leads to the “hollowing-out of human capital” in rural areas, reducing the resistance and recoverability of the agricultural system. Through multiple linear regression analysis of national data, this paper confirms that the large-scale transfer of rural labor exerts a significant negative impact on agricultural resilience, while the proportion of female employees in rural areas has a positive impact. Based on these findings, the paper puts forward policy suggestions such as establishing a labor market information service system and increasing investment in agricultural science and technology, aiming to enhance agricultural resilience and promote the high-quality development of agriculture.
