- Abstract
To resolve the core contradiction between technological empowerment and humanistic value imbalance in human resource management during the data era, and to provide critical support for enriching research at the intersection of technical sociology and HRM, this study employs literature review and comparative analysis. Utilizing Foucault’s disciplinary theory, Habermas’s theory of communicative action, and Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital as analytical frameworks, it systematically dissects the application logic of data management and computer technology in core HR scenarios. It reveals the deep-seated dilemmas—such as human alienation, lack of fairness, and relational breakdown—triggered by the instrumentalization of technology, along with their root causes, and exposes the usurpation of HRM’s humanistic essence by technological rationality. Building upon this foundation, the study constructs an integrated theoretical model encompassing technological embedding, humanistic predicaments, and ethical reconstruction. It proposes a three-dimensional path for bidirectional integration of technology and humanism through institutional norms, process optimization, and cognitive cultivation, thereby providing theoretical support and practical guidance for the humanistic turn in HRM during the data era.
