Abstract

In today’s fast-changing human resource management (HRM) landscape, organizations are increasingly adopting advanced technologies to improve decision making and workforce efficiency. This study explores how data analytics and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) are transforming Modern Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS). Data analytics empowers HR professionals with actionable insights by analyzing large volumes of workforce data, enabling more effective recruitment, performance assessments, and employee engagement strategies. Simultaneously, GenAI enhances these functions by automating repetitive HR tasks, generating personalized recommendations, and predicting workforce trends through deep learning models. This research investigates the combined impact of data analytics and GenAI on optimizing HR processes, including talent acquisition, employee retention, productivity assessment, and workforce planning. It also addresses critical challenges such as data privacy, AI bias, and the necessity for ethical AI frameworks in HR applications. Through an analytical review of current HRMS solutions and real-world case studies, the study demonstrates how AI-driven data analytics facilitates strategic, data-driven HR decision-making. The findings emphasize the potential of integrating GenAI with analytics to automate HR workflows, enhance employee experiences, and boost overall organizational performance. Finally, the research outlines future directions and offers strategic recommendations for HR leaders to implement AI-powered, data-driven HR practices effectively.
