- Abstract
Precision irrigation plays a crucial role in optimizing water usage and improving crop yield in modern agriculture. This paper presents an IoT-based precision irrigation system designed specifically for eggplant and tomato cultivation. The system integrates soil moisture sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, and automated water delivery mechanisms, ensuring optimal hydration for crops while minimizing water wastage. Real-time data is collected and transmitted via IoT-enabled devices, allowing for remote monitoring and intelligent decision-making. Machine learning algorithms analyze soil and environmental conditions to regulate water flow dynamically, improving water efficiency, plant health, and overall agricultural sustainability. Comparative analysis with traditional irrigation methods demonstrates the system’s effectiveness in reducing water consumption and enhancing crop yield. The proposed model provides a cost-effective, scalable, and automated solution for precision agriculture, addressing the challenges of resource conservation and sustainable farming practices.
