Abstract

EHR systems require the integration of Blockchain with Homomorphic Searchable Encryption technology to achieve secure protection and privacy management of data access. Blockchain technology stands out as an appropriate platform for healthcare data safety because it maintains both decentralized control and permanent records of data. The proposed method unites blockchain security features together with homomorphic encryption confidentiality protocols and capabilities. The secure retrieval of encrypted prescription data becomes possible through the implementation of homomorphic encryption because it protects sensitive data from improper exposure. The system incorporates Web3 for blockchain interface operations together with Flask for backend operations and SQLite to store and manage local data. The utilized solution maintains both health information privacy together with compliance to data protection laws through its mechanism.
