- Abstract
Government fund management is a very important function that has to be efficient, transparent, and accountable. However, with the conventional systems, inefficiency, untransparency, and high cost that go hand in hand with delays and possible abuse are intrinsic features. Blockchain presents a hopeful alternative in its efficient, decentralized, and transparent process of managing funds. However, existing blockchain platforms have the problems of high transaction fees, scalability, and energy wastage. The proposed system uses a protocol called Proof of Stake with Multi Token Management(PoS-MTM) which is less expensive and faster. Smart contracts are gas-optimized, and ERC-1155 tokens are utilized by the platform to manage finances, which supports batched transfers and elimination of unnecessary processes. Besides cost-effectiveness, off-chain management of non-essential processes is done using decentralized storage solutions such as InterPlanetary File System(IPFS).
