- Abstract
The TV drama Meet Yourself has successfully created a healing culture through the poetic style of prose narrative. Its free structure, delicate emotional expression and rich imagery provide the audience with multi-level aesthetic approaches, bringing multi-dimensional aesthetic experiences in terms of senses, emotions, philosophical thinking, artistic conception and culture. By depicting the fates of individuals, the drama reflects people’s pursuit of a better life in the mighty tide of the times. At the same time, the drama subtly combines traditional Chinese culture with modern civilization. It not only presents an idealized expression of traditional culture, but also endows the excellent traditional culture with new connotations through modern narrative techniques. This collision not only enriches the cultural connotation of the drama, but also provides the audience with the possibility of returning to tradition in the process of modernization and finding a spiritual habitat in the busy life, embodying a healing cultural orientation.
