- Abstract
Narrowing the gap between lifespan and healthspan requires objective, scalable rehabilitation tools. While Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) exercises improve balance, their deployment is constrained by subjective evaluations and lack of quantitative metrics. This study presents a “Precision Rehabilitation” framework integrating TCM exercises with research-grade MetaMotionRL (MMRL) inertial sensors. We operationalize qualitative TCM concepts (“Rooting”, “Flow”) into quantitative biomechanical metrics, specifically Root Mean Square (RMS) acceleration and Jerk analysis, establishing a closed-loop biofeedback system. Sensor deployment at the Mingmen point (GV4) approximates center-of-mass sway. Case-driven evidence in geriatric balance disorders demonstrates that high-precision sensing detects subtle stability gains overlooked by conventional clinical scales. Furthermore, we outline a Triple-Helix governance model to facilitate community-based deployment, bridging ancient wellness practices with digital health technology for healthy longevity.
