- Abstract
This paper is a comparative study of India and USA on governance and legal issues with respect to Artificial Intelligence, developing structure or organizational framework that is comprehensive enough to address and mitigate major ethical, social, and environmental issues arising due to the use of AI. These challenges include serious ones like copyright infringement and the misuse of AI in warfare and its impact on jobs and the employment sector, healthcare system, human rights and sustainability. Several legislations may have an impact on AI’s advancement or application in India.
