Abstract

In order to study on the multi-teeth meshing phenomenon of involute internal gear pairs with small tooth number difference, precise entity assembly models of internal gear pairs are established, finite clement analyses for the multi-teeth contact problem are carried out, characteristics of the tensile stress and the contact stress are revealed , a sharp angle effect of the multi-teeth meshing is discoversed and the maximum number of the meshing teeth pairs is provided.
