- Abstract
This study aims to implement the “squash and stretch” principle in The Jurigs animation, a fundamental Disney principle essential for creating natural and fluid movement. Using a qualitative approach, this research conducts a comparative study between episodes one and four. Data were collected through literature reviews, personal dialogues, and observations on YouTube. The findings reveal a significant disparity in the application quality between the episodes, where suboptimal execution leads to stiff and unnatural movements. This discrepancy directly impacts the animation's visual quality. By optimizing these technical standards, the quality and competitiveness of the local creative industry. Consistent application of animation principles is vital to ensuring professional-grade production, which fosters a more sustainable and globally competitive digital economy.
