Technological developments are also utilised in the criminal justice system, one of which is at the cassation stage. The ease of filing a cassation application through an electronic system increases the number of cassation applications, while the settlement of cases at the cassation level by the Supreme Court is still carried out conventionally which requires a lot of time. This article aims to see the efforts of the Supreme Court in dealing with the ease of access to cassation applications seen from the institution’s ability to handle criminal cassation legal efforts referring to the principles of fast, simple, and low cost justice. This study uses data from primary legal sources to conduct normative legal research. namely laws relating to the procedure of legal efforts of the case law, as well as other legal material obtained from the study of the library. Based on qualitative analysis, this article concludes that the Supreme Court has established various legal instruments to improve the service of cassation applications, particularly in criminal cases. In addition, the strategy for structuring cassation legal efforts cannot only rely on the use of information technology, but also on improving the quality and quantity of judges authorised to decide criminal cassation cases.
