Abstract

This study seeks to enhance online motorcycle taxi services through a comprehensive benchmarking approach that integrates Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Operations Research (OR). Utilizing quantitative research methodology, the study employed SEM to examine the interrelationships among key variables, including price perception, convenience, waiting time, and customer satisfaction. AHP was utilized to prioritize factors for service enhancement, while OR facilitated the formulation of algorithm-driven solutions aimed at minimizing waiting times. The research employed a purposive sampling technique, focusing on respondents with direct experience in using online motorcycle taxi services. The participant pool comprised 250 customers who provided insights via structured surveys, alongside 50 service providers who engaged in interviews and focus group discussions. The findings reveal that customer satisfaction is significantly affected by price perception, convenience, and waiting time, with speed and service quality identified as critical areas for improvement. This research contributes to the development of sustainable service strategies by highlighting the importance of integrating advanced methodologies with customer-centric innovations.
