Abstract

Mangrove policy about monitoring policy and control of mangrove area is a policy made to protect and conserve mangrove area. Monitoring and controlling policy of mangrove area in Surabaya is contained in Mayor of Surabaya Regulation No. 65/2011. The purpose of this policy is to maintain and preserve mangrove well in all mangrove areas in Surabaya. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach with data retrieval technique by observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The results of this study in perspective Merilee S. Grindle that the implementation of Mayor of Surabaya Regulation No. 65/ 2011 on procedures for supervision and control of mangrove areas in the city of Surabaya is good.
