- Abstract
Through interviews with five families in a second-tier city, this paper attempts to deeply understand the current situation, mechanism, and countermeasures of the impact of family education investment on students. The results show that: the females invest more in family education; the two-child family has changed thinking on the second child education; the “double reduction” policy has no significant impact on family education investment for the time being; family education investment significantly affects student growth; non-economic investment is more important than economic investment in student growth. Based on the investigation, the paper puts forwards the countermeasures such as increasing investment of father, emphasizing emotional investment of family and improving educational attainment of parents to provide reference for relevant researchers.
