- Abstract
This paper systematically studies the evolution and prospective vision of prefabricated shear wall structural systems. The definition, characteristics, development history, and global development status of prefabricated buildings are first presented. Then, the classification of prefabricated shear walls is elaborated on, and the connection joints, including rigid and flexible connection forms, are thoroughly analyzed. In response to installation and grouting quality issues, new-type prefabricated shear wall structures are explored. The SGBL shear wall is shown to have potential in cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement. Overall, insights into the development trends and challenges of prefabricated building technology are offered by this research, with the aim of promoting further innovation and application.
